Staff Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare the OT before procedures – ensure sterilization and availability of instruments.

Assist the gynecologist/IVF specialist during procedures such as:

Oocyte retrieval

Embryo transfer

Hysteroscopy / Laparoscopy

Maintain sterile environment and follow infection control protocols.

Handle equipment like suction machines, laparoscopes, endoscopic cameras, etc.

Document intraoperative care and ensure proper labeling of specimens.

Monitor patient vitals pre, intra, and post-surgery (if required).

Coordinate with the embryology team for smooth sample transfer.

Ensure inventory and requisition of OT supplies and medications.

Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements:

GNM / B.Sc Nursing (Registered with State Nursing Council)

Minimum 1–2 years of OT experience (IVF experience preferred)

Good knowledge of gynecological instruments and IVF procedures

Strong observation and critical thinking skills

Willingness to work in a dynamic and sensitive healthcare environment
