HR Intern - Job Description

[Assettrustservices Pvt.Ltd] is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions and contribute to a fast-paced work environment.  

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:

    • Assist with posting job descriptions on various platforms.

    • Screen resumes and schedule interviews.

    • Support the onboarding process, including preparing new hire paperwork and conducting orientation sessions.

    • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) data.

  • Employee Relations & Administration:

    • Assist with maintaining employee records and databases.

    • Support the preparation of HR-related documents, such as letters and reports.

    • Assist with organizing and coordinating employee events and training sessions.

    • Respond to basic employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate resources.

  • Learning & Development:

    • Assist with the coordination of training programs.

    • Help create training materials and presentations.

    • Assist in tracking training attendance and completion.

  • HR Projects:

    • Participate in various HR projects as assigned by the HR team.

    • Conduct research on HR best practices and industry trends.

    • Assist with data entry and analysis for HR reports.

  • General HR Support:

    • Provide general administrative support to the HR department.

    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.

    • Assist with filing, photocopying, and other clerical tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.  

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Experience with an ATS system is a plus.
