Key Responsibilities:
Salary Management:
Process monthly payroll for all employees ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement.
Calculate and verify salary components (basic, allowances, bonuses, deductions, etc.).
Maintain salary records and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Address salary-related queries and resolve discrepancies.
ESI (Employees’ State Insurance):
Ensure timely and accurate ESI contribution deductions from employees’ salaries.
Maintain records of employees enrolled under the ESI scheme.
Coordinate with ESI authorities for registration, claims, and related documentation.
Ensure that ESI payments are deposited on time and comply with statutory requirements.
PF (Provident Fund):
Manage Provident Fund (PF) deductions, contributions, and filings for all employees.
Prepare and file monthly and annual PF returns as per statutory guidelines.
Handle employees’ PF withdrawals, transfers, and pension claims.
Maintain records and ensure the organization complies with PF laws and regulations.
Challan Preparation and Compliance:
Prepare and submit statutory challans for ESI, PF, and other related statutory deductions.
Ensure the timely remittance of statutory contributions to the relevant authorities.
Ensure all challans are filed accurately and on time for compliance with labor laws.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
Maintain and update all employee records related to salary, ESI, PF, and other statutory benefits.
Ensure data privacy and confidentiality of employee salary details.
Prepare reports related to salary, ESI, PF contributions, and challan submissions.
Statutory Compliance and Audit:
Stay updated on changes in labor laws and statutory requirements related to salary, ESI, PF, and related compliance.
Coordinate with auditors for the annual audit and ensure all documents are in order.
Ensure adherence to legal and organizational guidelines for payroll and statutory contributions.
Employee Relations and Query Resolution:
Address employee concerns and queries regarding salary, ESI, PF, and other statutory benefits.
Educate employees about their benefits, statutory deductions, and filing procedures.
Maintain a positive relationship with employees regarding payroll-related matters.
