Job Description

  • Manage hiring processes and help with office/admin support
  • Coordinate office activities and handle employee engagement
Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with labor laws (such as the Industrial Disputes Act, Minimum Wages Act, and Shops and Establishment Act) and the Companies Act. Monitor changes in legislation and recommend necessary updates to policies.
• Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with current labor laws and the Companies Act. Review existing policies to ensure compliance.
• Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and relevant labor laws.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits related to HR practices. Prepare necessary documentation and reports for compliance audits, particularly those addressing labor law and Companies Act requirements.
• Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions for employees on compliance-related topics, including workplace harassment, discrimination, employee rights, and obligations under labor laws and the Companies Act.
• Incident Management: Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues, ensuring timely and appropriate action is taken in accordance with labor laws.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on HR compliance metrics and findings. Present findings and recommendations to management, highlighting any issues related to labor laws or the Companies Act.
• Collaboration: Work closely with HR team members and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance and employee relations.
• PF, ESIC & PT: Ensure timely and accurate calculation, deduction, and submission of Provident Fund, ESIC contributions, and employee benefits in compliance with statutory regulations.
