Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an HR cum Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the dual responsibilities of human resources management and accounting, ensuring smooth operations in both domains. This role requires excellent organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
· Manage the end-to-end recruitment process (job posting, screening, interviews, onboarding).
· Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation compliance.
· Monitor attendance, leaves, and timesheets; coordinate with site supervisors.
· Handle payroll processing and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS).
· Address employee grievances and support employee engagement initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with labor laws and company HR policies.
· Coordinate training and development programs for staff and site workers.
Accounting & Finance:
· Maintain accurate books of accounts using accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).
· Handle accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.
· Prepare monthly financial reports, cash flow statements, and MIS reports.
· Assist in budgeting and cost control for projects.
· Manage statutory compliance such as GST, TDS, PF, and ESI filings.
· Coordinate with external auditors and CA for audits and year-end processes.
· Maintain records for purchases, vendor payments, and site expenses.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Professional certifications in HR or accounting are a plus.
· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar dual role.
· Knowledge of labor laws and construction industry standards.
· Proficient in Tally, MS Excel, and payroll software.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
