Job Description

Job Summary:

The Human Resources (HR) Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all HR functions within the company, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, training, and compliance with legal regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to contribute to a positive and productive company culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Staffing:

    • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.

    • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and workforce planning.

    • Develop and implement strategies for attracting top talent, including outreach, job fairs, and recruitment marketing.

  2. Employee Relations:

    • Foster a positive working environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance to managers and staff.

    • Advise managers on employee performance, conduct, and development.

    • Mediate disputes and work to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.

  3. Performance Management:

    • Manage performance review processes and assist in setting clear goals and expectations for employees.

    • Work with managers to provide coaching, feedback, and support for performance improvement.

    • Assist in managing disciplinary procedures and ensure consistent application of policies.

  4. Compensation and Benefits:

    • Administer employee compensation programs, including salary structure, bonuses, and incentive plans.

    • Oversee the benefits enrollment process, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.

    • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure competitive and compliant compensation and benefits packages.

  5. Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and organize learning and development opportunities for employees.

    • Design, implement, and evaluate training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.

    • Encourage career development initiatives and succession planning.

  6. Compliance and Legal Responsibilities:

    • Ensure company policies and practices are in compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.

    • Manage record-keeping and reporting for HR-related matters, including employee files and necessary documentation.

    • Keep up-to-date with changes in HR laws and best practices, ensuring policies are adjusted as needed.

  7. HR Strategy and Reporting:

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.

    • Provide HR metrics and reports to senior management on employee performance, turnover, and other relevant HR metrics.

    • Collaborate with leadership to foster a positive company culture and engage in continuous improvement efforts.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
