Payroll Management:
Process monthly payroll, ensuring accurate calculations of salaries, bonuses, incentives, and deductions.
Ensure the payroll is processed on time and that all statutory and non-statutory deductions are applied accurately (e.g., taxes, provident fund, insurance).
Compliance & Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee compensation data.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws, labor laws, and statutory benefit requirements.
Employee Queries & Support:
Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and resolve any discrepancies related to salary, benefits, or deductions.
Provide support to employees regarding deductions, leave balance, and any payroll-related inquiries.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and submit accurate reports regarding payroll, taxes, and benefits to management and statutory authorities.
Ensure timely submission of statutory filings, including tax returns, provident fund, and employee insurance.
Reconciliation & Audits:
Reconcile payroll data with attendance records, timesheets, and other related documents.
Assist in internal and external audits related to payroll and compensation.
System & Process Improvement:
Suggest improvements to streamline payroll processes and ensure greater accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain and update the payroll software or systems to reflect any changes in regulations or company policies.
Leave & Attendance Management:
Oversee and manage employee leave records (sick leave, vacation, etc.).
Ensure timely updates of attendance data to avoid discrepancies in payroll.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
2-3 years of experience in payroll management or a related field, preferably in a corporate setting.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, SAP, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Knowledge of:
Labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory deductions.
Payroll processing and compliance standards.
