We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and a passion for providing exceptional service. As a Counter Sales Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them with their product inquiries, processing transactions, and providing top-tier service in a retail or trade environment.
Customer Service: Greet customers, understand their needs, and assist with product selection in a friendly and professional manner.
Sales Support: Actively engage with customers to upsell and cross-sell products based on their needs and preferences.
Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the products and services offered to assist customers effectively.
Order Processing: Accurately process sales transactions, including cash, credit, and returns using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Stock Management: Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves, organizing displays, and managing product availability.
Customer Queries: Address customer inquiries regarding product details, pricing, delivery, or availability.
Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the counter and store area are clean, organized, and welcoming for customers.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other sales staff and management to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
Complaint Resolution: Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and effective manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Report Generation: Provide feedback on sales trends, customer preferences, and inventory levels to management.
Experience: Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Customer Focus: A genuine desire to help and serve customers with a professional attitude.
Tech-savvy: Comfortable using POS systems, computers, and mobile devices for sales transactions.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in sales or customer service is a plus.
