WORK RESPONSIBILITY:
Customer Interaction:
Greet customers and assess their electronic component needs.
Answer technical questions about product specifications, functionality, and compatibility.
Provide product demonstrations and explain features to customers.
Assist with product selection based on customer requirements.
Sales Transactions:
Generate sales orders and process transactions accurately.
Check inventory levels and availability of products.
Quote prices and handle customer pricing inquiries.
Manage returns and exchanges.
Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on new electronic components, industry trends, and product lines.
Maintain detailed knowledge of product specifications, applications, and compatibility.
Understand technical datasheets and product catalogs.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels and re-order products as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized sales counter and inventory area.
Conduct periodic inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
Relationship Building:
Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Identify potential sales opportunities and cross-sell products.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Skills:
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electronic components like resistors, capacitors, transistors, integrated circuits, and their applications.
Sales Skills: Ability to effectively present products, handle customer objections, and close sales.
Customer Service : Strong interpersonal skills, ability to listen to customer needs and provide helpful solutions.
Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management systems and point-of-sale software.
