Store Manager

Job Summary:

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the apparel store, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, optimizing sales, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, leadership skills, and a passion for fashion and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service:

• Drive sales to meet and exceed store targets.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.

• Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to boost revenue.

• Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure timely resolution.

Store Operations & Management:

• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.

• Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and stock presentation.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Monitor and control shrinkage, theft, and operational losses.

Inventory & Merchandising:

• Manage stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.

• Conduct regular stock audits and inventory checks.

• Coordinate with the merchandising team for proper product display and promotions.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Recruit, train, and manage store staff.

• Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing levels.

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.

• Foster a positive and motivated work environment.

Financial & Reporting Duties:

• Monitor store expenses and work within budget.

• Prepare sales reports and performance analyses.

• Ensure cash handling and POS transactions comply with company guidelines.
