Academic Counselor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Academic Counselor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will provide personalized academic guidance, assist with course selection, and help students navigate their educational journey effectively. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a passion for student success, and a solid understanding of academic programs and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one academic counseling to students regarding course selection, academic planning, and career goals.

• Assist students with academic concerns, including time management, study strategies, and goal setting.

• Monitor student progress and provide interventions to support academic success.

• Develop and deliver workshops on academic skills, career planning, and other relevant topics.

• Collaborate with faculty and academic departments to support student needs.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in compliance with institutional policies.

• Stay current with academic policies, curriculum changes, and available resources.

• Participate in orientation programs and other student support initiatives.

• Provide support for transfer students, graduate students, and other special populations as needed.
