Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Baby Feeding Products

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / Sales Director
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Achieve sales targets and revenue growth in the assigned area for baby feeding products.
Develop and implement sales plans to expand the market share of the products.
Identify new business opportunities and target new clients (retailers, distributors, and direct customers).
Market & Competitor Analysis:
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.
Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams on potential opportunities and product improvements.
Distributor & Retailer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and retailers.
Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and marketing support at retail outlets.
Conduct regular training and development sessions for distributors and retail partners on product features and benefits.
Team Management:
Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives in the region to achieve sales targets.
Provide guidance, support, and training to the sales team to improve performance and enhance product knowledge.
Inventory Management & Supply Chain Coordination:
Coordinate with the logistics and supply chain team to ensure timely availability of products in the region.
Monitor stock levels at distributors and retailers to avoid stock-outs and overstock situations.
Customer Service:
Address customer inquiries and complaints regarding product quality or availability.
Ensure that customers receive timely and effective support for all product-related issues.
Reporting & Forecasting:
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market updates for senior management.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, revenue, and market share.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the baby care or FMCG sector (baby feeding products is a plus).
Proven track record in sales and business development, with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Strong leadership skills and experience in managing and motivating a team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the baby care market and products, including customer needs and preferences.
Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies based on insights.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Willingness to travel as required in the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or MBA in a related field.
