Business Development Manager - Sales (B2B - Mutual Fund and Investment)
Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for building and leading a team to drive sales in the Mutual Fund Distribution sector. The primary focus is on achieving sales targets, acquiring new distributors, and ensuring high client satisfaction through effective training and support.
🔓 Responsibilities:
Achieve sales targets exceeding 90%.
Recruit and onboard 4 new distributors to reach a total of 50 active distributors.
Generate ₹5 crore in net sales from team efforts.
Secure ₹5 lakh in Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs).
Maintain a minimum of 50% active distributorship criteria.
Complete all mandatory training programs (100% completion required).
Source data for new distributor acquisition.
Collaborate with LMS team for product knowledge and client engagement.
Utilize in-house software for business logging and query management.
Performance Metrics:
Sales Target Achievement: 90%+ of set targets.
Distributor Addition: 4 new distributors until reaching 50 active distributors.
Net Sales: ₹5 crore from the team.
SIP Sales: ₹5 lakh in Systematic Investment Plans.
Active Distributorship: Maintain at least a 50% active distributor rate.
Training Completion: 100% of mandatory training completed.
👨🎓 Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 3 years in sales management, preferably in mutual funds, financial services, banking products, or FMCG.
Strong aptitude for B2B team building and handling objections.
Effective in field activities and sales processes.
Knowledge & Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for financial calculations.
Comfortable with internet usage and online financial transactions.
Familiarity with investment products and financial markets.
🕛 Working Conditions:
Working Days: 6 Days (Monday to Saturday)
Working Hours: 10 AM - 7 PM
