Job Title: Home Loan (HL) & Loan Against Property (LAP) Specialist

Reports To: Branch Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our team as a Home Loan (HL) & Loan Against Property (LAP) Specialist. The role involves managing and growing the portfolio of home loans and loan against property offerings. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of loan products, market trends, customer relationship management, and be able to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Loan Origination & Sales:

1.Promote Home Loan (HL) and Loan Against Property (LAP) products to potential customers.

2.Analyze customer profiles, assess eligibility, and offer suitable loan products.

3.Drive sales and achieve monthly/quarterly targets for HL & LAP business.

Customer Relationship Management:

1.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

2.Provide personalized loan solutions based on customer needs and financial background.

3.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by offering timely responses to queries and concerns.

Documentation & Process Management:

1.Coordinate with customers to collect required documents and ensure compliance with loan requirements.

2.Ensure smooth processing of loan applications from submission to disbursement.

3.Liaise with underwriting and risk teams to ensure timely loan approval.

Market Research & Competitor Analysis:

1.Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings in the HL & LAP sector.

2.Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for product offerings and sales strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

1.Work closely with credit, legal, and operations teams to ensure efficient loan processing.

2.Assist in designing marketing campaigns for HL & LAP products.

Regulatory Compliance:

1.Ensure all loans are processed in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

2.Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in Home Loan (HL) or Loan Against Property (LAP) sales, underwriting, or related roles.

Skills:

o In-depth knowledge of HL & LAP products and their processing.

o Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to analyze financial documents and customer profiles.

o Customer-centric attitude with strong relationship management abilities.

o Proficiency in MS Office and loan management software.

Preferred:

 Experience in a similar role at a financial institution or NBFC. Or DSA.

 Knowledge of current market trends, interest rates, and loan products.
