Sales Co-ordinator

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Supervision and Management:

   • Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites.

   • Manage and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and laborers.

   • Ensure the site is safe, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

   • Ensure the project follows the blueprint and specifications set by the design team.

2. Project Coordination:

   • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure efficient execution of the project.

   • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project progress.

   • Monitor project schedules and budgets, adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines.

3. Quality Control:

   • Ensure the construction work is of high quality, meets all building codes and standards, and adheres to client specifications.

   • Perform regular inspections and audits of the construction site to monitor progress and resolve any quality issues.

4. Material and Resource Management:

   • Monitor and manage the supply of materials on-site, ensuring there is no wastage and that materials are used efficiently.

   • Prepare material take-offs and request materials from suppliers as needed.

   • Ensure that equipment and machinery are in good working order and safe to operate.

5. Problem-Solving:

   • Identify and address any issues or delays on-site, and develop solutions to keep the project on track.

   • Troubleshoot technical issues related to design, construction methods, or equipment.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, site diaries, and incident logs.

   • Prepare daily or weekly reports on site progress and communicate findings to project stakeholders.

   • Ensure proper documentation for compliance purposes, such as permits, inspections, and safety records.

7. Health and Safety:

   • Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all workers are adhering to safety standards.

   • Conduct regular safety briefings and risk assessments.

   • Identify hazards on-site and implement preventive measures to avoid accidents.

8. Environmental Compliance:

   • Ensure the project follows environmental regulations and sustainability practices.

   • Manage waste disposal and recycling processes to minimize environmental impact.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • Previous experience (usually 2-5 years) in construction or engineering roles, with exposure to site management.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
