Job Description

As an International Travel Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the sales of bespoke holiday packages to global destinations. Your ability to understand customer needs, recommend tailor-made solutions, and negotiate effectively will help our clients book their dream vacations. You will also foster lasting customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Consultations:

    • Actively sell international holiday packages by providing expert advice on various destinations, travel options, and itineraries.

    • Customize travel packages to suit individual customer preferences, budgets, and travel requirements.

    • Assist clients in choosing destinations, flights, accommodations, and activities.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication and follow-up services.

    • Ensure all client inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.

    • Manage and nurture leads, converting prospects into loyal customers.

  • Negotiation & Communication:

    • Negotiate favorable rates and deals with suppliers, including airlines, hotels, and tour operators.

    • Collaborate with the operations team to finalize bookings and ensure smooth travel arrangements.

    • Communicate clearly with clients, guiding them through the booking process, and ensuring their expectations are met.

  • Market Knowledge & Research:

    • Stay updated on the latest trends and popular international destinations in the travel industry.

    • Provide clients with relevant information regarding visas, local customs, travel restrictions, and weather conditions for each destination.

    • Maintain a database of preferred suppliers, special offers, and travel promotions.

  • Administrative Support:

    • Manage travel bookings, reservations, and payments in an organized and timely manner.

    • Ensure that all necessary documentation, including itineraries, tickets, and vouchers, is provided to the clients before departure.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service within the travel industry (preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of international destinations, cultures, and travel logistics.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and travel booking systems.

  • A passion for travel and helping clients create memorable experiences.
