Job Description: Domestic Travel Consultant
Experience Required: 1 to 7 years
Location: East Delhi
Salary: Negotiable (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Destination Knowledge & Planning:
Develop in-depth knowledge of domestic travel destinations across India, including popular tourist spots and hidden gems.
Stay updated on trends, new attractions, and seasonal travel preferences.
Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with vendors, including hotels (4 & 5-star properties) and vehicle fleet suppliers.
Negotiate the best rates and maintain strong, reliable connections with vendors to ensure seamless service delivery for clients.
Fare Quotation & Budgeting:
Provide competitive pricing for FIT and group bookings, ensuring that you are able to quote the best and lowest fares available.
Review and assess client budgets and tailor travel packages accordingly to ensure cost-effectiveness and high-quality service.
Booking Handling & Coordination:
Manage both Free Independent Traveler (FIT) and Group bookings, ensuring efficient itinerary planning, hotel reservations, and transport coordination.
Oversee travel arrangements, ensuring that all details (flights, transfers, accommodation, etc.) are accurate and meet client expectations.
MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions):
Work with clients to organize and coordinate MICE travel requirements, offering tailored packages for business trips, conferences, and incentive tours.
Provide logistical support, including meeting room bookings, transportation, and event coordination.
Customer Service & Client Relationship:
Offer personalized service to clients, understanding their travel preferences and crafting bespoke itineraries.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any travel-related issues promptly, ensuring client satisfaction.
Travel Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure all travel documentation (bookings, itineraries, contracts) are prepared and accurately processed.
Keep up-to-date with relevant travel regulations, permits, and insurance requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 1 to 7 years of experience in the domestic travel industry.
Strong knowledge of domestic travel destinations, including key cities, tourist attractions, and hotels (4 & 5-star).
Proven experience in vendor management and negotiation with hotels and vehicle suppliers.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle complex travel arrangements and provide customized solutions.
Experience working with MICE events and business travel.
Proficient in using travel booking software, MS Office, and other related tools.
