JOB PROFILE: - District Sales Manager (DSM)

LOCATION: - Kolkata / Lucknow

EMPLOYEMENT TYPE: - Full Time

They provide a wide range of products – Antibiotics, NSAIDs, Gastrointestinal, Nutritional, Anti-osteoporosis, Gynae and other segments.

 

JOB SUMMARY: -

We are seeking a results-driven District Sales Manager (DSM) to lead and manage sales operations within a specific geographic territory. The DSM will be responsible for overseeing a team of sales representatives, driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and executing the company’s strategic initiatives within the district.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to exceed sales targets and KPIs.

  • Drive sales performance through territory planning, goal setting, and performance monitoring.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Implement sales strategies that align with broader organizational goals and marketing initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical sales practices.

 

Requirements: -

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).

  • 5+ years of sales experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to travel frequently within the district.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Preferred Qualifications: -

  • Experience in [insert industry: e.g., Pharmaceuticals].

  • Knowledge of territory management and customer segmentation strategies.

  • Dynamic Individual with Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
