JOB SUMMARY: -
We are seeking a results-driven District Sales Manager (DSM) to lead and manage sales operations within a specific geographic territory. The DSM will be responsible for overseeing a team of sales representatives, driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and executing the company’s strategic initiatives within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Drive sales performance through territory planning, goal setting, and performance monitoring.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
Implement sales strategies that align with broader organizational goals and marketing initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical sales practices.
Requirements: -
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).
5+ years of sales experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel frequently within the district.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications: -
Experience in [insert industry: e.g., Pharmaceuticals].
Knowledge of territory management and customer segmentation strategies.
