Job Description:
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring legal compliance, managing
cash flow, and providing insightful financial reports. This role demands a proactive and detail-oriented individual with
strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of ensuring the company's financial health and growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and submit daily profitability reports, incorporating Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and Morbi
expenses.
• Generate accurate financial statements and reports as required.
2. Legal Compliance:
• Travel to Morbi for a 7-day trip to secure all necessary legal signatures and ensure compliance with relevant
regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting and tax laws.
3. Creditor Relationship Management:
• Ensure all ledgers are signed by creditors, especially those involving cash transactions, for accurate recordkeeping.
• Maintain strong relationships with creditors and resolve any payment-related issues.
4. Cash Flow Management:
• Implement strategies to reduce cash transactions by 90% and improve financial stability.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring timely payments and collections.
5. Inventory Management:
• Implement and maintain a daily stock maintenance system in Tally for optimal inventory control.
• Track inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
6. General Accounting Duties:
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
7. Professional Demeanor:
• Maintain a calm and collected approach in managing challenges.
• Practice composure and remain polite in all interactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Tally software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations.
