Roles & Responsibilities-

• Responsible for processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliation of all bills pertaining to raw material (RM) to be used and consumed within the production units of the company.

• Perform the end-to-end raw material (RM) bill passing processing, including but not limited to, bill and invoice validation, processing, and payment tracking, taking negotiated prices into consideration as well as the associated charges such as vendor advances, custom duty, and challan charges, etc.

• Process and document all RM transactions as per departmental standards and processes and ensure the relevant details are updated in all systems as per SOPs

• Prepare the complete documentation for all outbound transactions made by the organization for purchase of RM, and accordingly provide advice on the payments of the same.

• Oversee the reconciliation of all RM bills across all software with the physical copies of the same.

• Contribute to the periodic RM bill passing MIS & reports such as Monthly Liability Report, Daily Fund Flow reports, TOC report, etc. by providing accurate figures for the same.

• Assist the GST team and the senior management with final accounts audit, vendor bill queries, bill issues, payment issues, payment laggings, defaults, if any and clearance.

• Perform any additional work as instructed by Senior Management

Desired Qualifications-

• Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field

• 2+ years of experience in similar role, preferably in steel or metals manufacturing industry

• ·         Good experience with the accounts payables processes

  ·         Strong experience with accounting principles and procedures

  Experience with MS Office (especially Excel) and other relevant business software like SAP
