Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee GST filing, TDS filing, Internal Audit, and Stock Audit management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance, managing financial audits, and leading a team to maintain accuracy in stock and financial reporting. This role requires strong expertise in taxation, financial auditing, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

Taxation & Compliance:

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.), ensuring timely submission and reconciliation.

• Handle TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) compliance, including deductions, payments, and return filings.

• Ensure proper tax planning and compliance with government regulations.

• Address tax notices, assessments, and liaise with tax authorities.

Internal Audit & Controls:

• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Identify financial risks and discrepancies in accounting records and recommend corrective actions.

• Assist in statutory and tax audits, coordinating with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Stock Audit & Inventory Management:

• Oversee and conduct stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies.

• Analyze stock movement, wastage, and pilferage to improve inventory control.

• Develop and implement inventory management policies to streamline stock handling.

• Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to maintain stock accuracy.

Team Leadership & Coordination:

• Lead and manage a team handling taxation, internal audit, and stock audit functions.

• Assign responsibilities, provide training, and ensure adherence to financial and audit processes.

• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and warehouse departments for smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com, M.Com, CA, MBA in Finance, etc.).

• 3-10 years of experience in GST, TDS, Internal Auditing, and Stock Auditing.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and auditing standards.

• Experience with accounting software (Tally) and MS Excel.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and ensure process accuracy.
