Audit Assistant -

Location- Sundergarh

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Audit Assistant to join our Audit & Assurance team. The Audit Assistant will support audit teams in conducting financial and compliance audits for clients, helping ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and executing audit assignments under the guidance of senior auditors.
Conduct fieldwork including testing of financial transactions and account balances.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or pursuing one).
Basic understanding of accounting principles and audit procedures.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, fraud, or non-compliance with laws and regulations.
Prepare working papers and audit documentation in accordance with professional standards.
Support the preparation of audit reports and management letters.
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to team leaders.
Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information and resolve queries.
Stay updated with accounting and auditing standards and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior internship or work experience in auditing or accounting.
Pursuing a professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is a plus.

Requirements-
Freshers can also apply having a B.Com or M.Com degree.
CA Inter/ CMA Inter will be given preference
Must have basic knowledge of Accounting
Must be ready to travel for Audit purposes
Must have a learning attitude
