Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Sadashiv peth, Pune
Department: Accounts & Finance
Reports to: Accounts Head

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our financial operations, with a strong focus on GST and other statutory compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of accounting principles, taxation laws, and financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including ledger management, bank reconciliations, and finalization of accounts.

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) and handle all related compliances.

• Manage TDS payments, returns, and compliance with Income Tax regulations.

• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits by providing required data and information.

• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.

• Stay updated on amendments in GST laws, income tax laws, and other statutory regulations.

• Handle documentation and liaison with tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities as required.

• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Professional qualifications like CA Inter / CMA / M.Com will be an added advantage.

• 4–7 years of accounting experience, with a focus on GST and statutory compliance.

• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST law, TDS, and other compliances.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Experience handling GST assessments, audits, and government queries.

• Familiarity with e-Invoicing and e-Way Bill systems.

Compensation:
30,000 to 35,000
