We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing innovative and functional interior spaces for retail stores and showrooms, ensuring that the furniture and design solutions we provide meet the client's needs and exceed their expectations. You will lead design projects from concept to execution, working closely with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and development of interior layouts for retail stores and showroom projects, focusing on optimizing space, functionality, and aesthetics.
• Create design concepts, mood boards, and 3D renderings, collaborating with clients to refine and finalize design plans.
• Develop detailed design plans, specifications, and furniture layouts, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and client requirements.
• Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, colors, and furniture to complement the space and client objectives.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of materials and furniture.
• Supervise the execution of designs, providing support and direction to junior designers and ensuring the design vision is realized accurately.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are completed within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Conduct site visits to ensure proper installation of furniture and design elements, resolving any issues that arise during the process.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and technologies to continuously bring innovative solutions to projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing design consultation and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in interior design, with a focus on retail store and showroom design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in retail and showroom interior design, including furniture design.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Studio Max, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent understanding of spatial design, materials, finishes, and lighting.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead design projects.
• Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and project compliance.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with furniture manufacturing processes and custom furniture design.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and materials.
