Key Responsibilities of a Banking Assistant:
Customer Service:
Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and account inquiries.
Provide information about banking products and services.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
Transaction Processing:
Process deposits, withdrawals, and other banking transactions.
Verify the accuracy of transactions and ensure compliance with banking regulations and procedures.
Assist in ordering, receiving, verifying, and distributing cash.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain customer records and ensure compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations.
Assist in processing loan applications.
Support the bank's sales and marketing initiatives.
Prepare and record daily transactions into the bank's computer systems.
Other Duties:
Assist with branch opening and closing procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information securely.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
