We are looking for a fast and accurate Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining various types of data into our systems and databases. Your attention to detail, organization skills, and data integrity will support the smooth and efficient operations of our company.
Accurately input data into databases, spreadsheets, or software systems
Verify and review data for errors or discrepancies before and after entry
Maintain and update records and files to ensure current and accurate information
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
Assist in preparing reports and compiling information for internal use
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and personal information
Ensure data entry deadlines are met with minimal errors
Collaborate with other departments to obtain and validate data
Follow company policies and data security protocols
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
Proven experience as a data entry clerk, typist, or similar position
Fast typing speed with high accuracy (e.g., 40–60 WPM or more)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry software
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiarity with office equipment, such as scanners and printers
Experience working with CRM, ERP, or other database systems
Prior knowledge of industry-specific data (e.g., medical records, sales data, finance)
Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Office-based or remote work setting
May involve repetitive tasks and long periods of computer use
Flexible hours or shifts depending on business needs
