Position: Computer Operator with Tally Experience
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Computer Operator with experience in Tally to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing computer systems, performing data entry tasks, and handling accounting and inventory tasks using Tally software.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry & System Operation:
Operate computer systems and software programs, particularly Tally, for maintaining financial data.
Enter and update data accurately, ensuring that all records are maintained and organized.
Tally Software Management:
Use Tally for accounting tasks such as creating invoices, maintaining ledgers, tracking accounts payable and receivable.
Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and trial balance.
Perform stock management, and update inventory records in Tally.
Database Management:
Ensure that databases and accounting software (Tally) are regularly updated with accurate data.
Backup data and ensure system security and confidentiality.
Technical Support:
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the computer systems and software, especially Tally.
Provide user support for other staff using the software.
Administrative Tasks:
Assist with general administrative tasks, including email communication, filing, and document management.
Help prepare reports and presentations as needed for internal or external stakeholders.
Compliance & Accuracy:
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies when inputting financial information into Tally.
Review and verify data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies in records.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
Certification in Tally (Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime) is an advantage.
Experience:
Proven experience as a Computer Operator or in a similar role.
Hands-on experience with Tally accounting software (at least 1-2 years).
Skills:
Proficiency in Tally and MS Office (Excel, Word).
Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with team members and other departments.
