Staff Management:
Supervise and coordinate production workers, assigning tasks, providing training, and monitoring performance.
Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide feedback.
Address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues.
Production Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and manage production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
Monitor production progress and make adjustments as needed to maintain production targets.
Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process optimization strategies.
Quality Control:
Ensure adherence to quality standards by monitoring production processes and conducting quality checks.
Investigate and address quality issues, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Maintain documentation related to quality control procedures.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety regulations and procedures within the production area.
Conduct safety training and promote a safe working environment.
Investigate safety incidents and implement preventive measures.
Equipment Maintenance:
Monitor equipment condition and coordinate necessary maintenance activities.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
Inventory Management:
Maintain appropriate levels of raw materials and finished goods inventory.
Coordinate with purchasing and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Reporting and Communication:
Generate production reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Communicate effectively with other departments, including engineering, quality assurance, and management.
Required Skills:
Strong leadership and supervisory skills

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures

Ability to analyze data and identify trends

Understanding of safety regulations and procedures
Relevant Experience:
Previous experience as a production supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of specific manufacturing equipment and processes relevant to the industry
