Job Title: Cashier (Food Industry)

Job Location: Bangalore

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and efficient Cashier to join our team in the food industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer transactions, ensuring accuracy in order processing, and maintaining a positive customer experience. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for customers, so it is essential to provide exceptional service and ensure a smooth checkout experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Address inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
Processing Transactions: Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions. Ensure correct change is provided and receipts are given.
Order Accuracy: Verify orders, ensure all items are properly scanned and priced, and double-check for accuracy before finalizing the sale.
Up-selling and Promotions: Promote special offers, upsell menu items, and inform customers of new products or services.
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the cashier station clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., receipt paper, pens).
Inventory Support: Assist with stock replenishment and notify management of low stock levels for products and supplies.
Adhere to Policies: Follow all company policies and procedures, including cash handling, food safety regulations, and health & safety protocols.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store/restaurant and maintain a positive working environment.

Qualifications:
Preferred B COM graduates
Previous cashier or retail experience in a food industry environment preferred.
Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety standards is an advantage.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
