A Digital Marketing Sales Executive is responsible for generating business for digital marketing services like SEO, social media marketing, Google Ads, website development, etc., by identifying potential clients, pitching services, and closing deals. They act as a bridge between clients and the marketing team.
Identify potential leads through LinkedIn, email marketing, cold calls, and networking.
Research and analyze businesses that may require digital marketing services.
Qualify leads based on need, budget, and decision-making authority.
Contact prospective clients and explain the agency's services.
Prepare customized presentations and pitches based on client needs.
Conduct online/offline meetings to present digital marketing strategies.
Achieve sales targets by converting leads into paying clients.
Negotiate pricing and service packages.
Draft and share proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
Coordinate with the internal marketing team to understand the scope of the service.
Ensure smooth client onboarding after closing the deal.
Communicate client expectations clearly to the operations team.
Maintain daily/weekly reports on outreach, follow-ups, and conversions.
Update lead details and interactions in CRM software or Excel.
Analyze campaign feedback and sales performance.
Follow up with old leads and maintain relationships with existing clients for upselling/cross-selling.
Act as a point of contact for client concerns and queries (initial phase).
Stay updated on digital marketing trends and competitors’ offerings.
Suggest improvements in service packages based on market needs.
