Key Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance:
Supervise and conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the service center and showroom, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of all areas, including customer waiting areas, restrooms, work bays, and showroom floors.
Oversee cleaning staff and ensure that cleaning schedules are adhered to and that the facility meets all hygiene standards.
Equipment and Tools Management:
Monitor the condition of all service tools and equipment, including lifts, air compressors, diagnostic machines, and other service tools.
Schedule regular preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment to avoid downtime and ensure the safety of the service staff.
Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for the purchase, repair, or replacement of equipment as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all safety protocols and standards are strictly followed within the service center and showroom.
Conduct regular safety audits, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding workplace safety and environmental standards.
Inventory and Supplies Management:
Manage and maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
Monitor stock levels of essential items and place orders as necessary to avoid shortages.
Keep records of inventory usage and expenditures, and report to the management team as required.
Vendor and Contractor Management:
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility repairs, maintenance services, and any necessary upgrades or renovations.
Evaluate contractor work to ensure it meets quality standards and is completed within budget and deadlines.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with service providers to ensure the best value and service quality.
Operational Support:
Support the service and sales teams by ensuring all operational needs are met, including setting up displays in the showroom and organizing service bays.
Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and provide technical support where necessary.
Work closely with the Service Manager and other department heads to address any facility-related concerns that may impact customer service or operations.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including equipment servicing, repairs, and safety checks.
Prepare regular reports on facility status, maintenance activities, and any major issues that require attention.
Provide recommendations for facility improvements or upgrades to enhance
