Job Summary: The Recovery Executive is responsible for ensuring timely collection of outstanding dues from customers, maintaining customer relationships, and reducing financial risks for the company. The role requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle delicate financial discussions professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Debt Collection & Recovery:
o Follow up with customers for pending payments through calls, emails, and personal visits.
o Ensure timely collection of overdue invoices and outstanding balances.
o Handle recovery from both wholesale and retail clients.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
o Maintain professional communication with clients regarding payment schedules.
o Address customer concerns and negotiate payment plans if needed.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure timely payments.
3. Reporting & Documentation:
o Maintain and update records of outstanding dues and payment follow-ups.
o Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection status.
o Identify delinquent accounts and suggest corrective actions.
4. Risk Management:
o Assess customer creditworthiness before approving credit sales.
o Identify potential defaulters and take proactive measures to minimize risk.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in collections, debt recovery, or credit control, preferably in the jewellery industry.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience in dealing with high-value clients in the jewellery sector.
Understanding of legal processes related to debt recovery.
Ability to work independently and handle pressure effectively.
