Job Title: Field Coordinator – Homestay Engagement (Belagavi)
Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Field Coordinator based in Belagavi to engage with local homestay owners/operators and the Belagavi Tourism Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering insights, resolving queries, promoting the SignForms app, and ensuring seamless feedback collection. This role requires travel within the region, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
App Promotion & Training: Assist homestay operators in downloading, setting up, and using the SignForms app, ensuring they fully understand its benefits.
Homestay Engagement: Identify and meet with homestay owners/operators to understand their operational challenges, gather feedback, and help them implement the SignForms app.
Feedback Collection: Document and report challenges, suggestions, and overall feedback from homestay operators regarding their experience with the app.
Tourism Department Coordination: Work closely with the Belagavi Tourism Department to understand their requirements, gather insights, and ensure SignForms aligns with their needs.
Reporting & Communication: Provide structured reports to the SignForms team in Mumbai on a regular basis, summarising key findings, operator concerns, and areas of improvement.
Travel & Logistics: Visit homestay locations within Belagavi and surrounding areas as required, ensuring effective on-ground engagement.
Requirements:
• Prior experience in the tourism/hospitality sector preferred.
• Fluent in English and Kannada (Hindi or other regional languages would be an advantage). • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple manner.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have own transportation for travel within Belagavi and surrounding areas.
• Comfortable using mobile applications and digital tools for reporting and coordination.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Graduate with prior experience working with government tourism departments, travel agencies, or hospitality businesses.
• Knowledge of local homestay networks and tourism operators
