Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven District Sales Manager to oversee sales operations within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives, implementing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve district sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Set and track sales goals for individual team members and the overall district.
Ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds revenue and performance targets.
Team Leadership & Development:
Train, mentor, and motivate sales representatives to improve performance.
Provide ongoing training, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members.
Foster a high-performance sales culture through motivation, recognition, and accountability.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Address customer concerns and resolve complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with sales representatives to develop customized solutions for clients.
Operational & Financial Management:
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and expense management for the district.
Analyze sales reports, KPIs, and other data to make informed business decisions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum graduation in any field.
Proven experience as a District Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role.
Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make strategic decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry-specific experience in FMCG.
Willingness to travel within the district as needed.
