We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented IT Engineer Intern - L1 to provide first-line technical support to our employees. As the initial point of contact, you will play a crucial role in resolving technical issues, ensuring a smooth and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance: Respond to inquiries from employees regarding computer hardware, software, and network connectivity issues via phone, email, or chat.
Troubleshoot problems: Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues related to operating systems, applications, printers, and network connectivity.
Escalate issues: Identify and escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level support teams.
Document solutions: Maintain accurate records of reported issues, troubleshooting steps taken, and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
Maintain hardware: Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals.
Software support: Provide basic support for common software applications, including installation, updates, and troubleshooting.
Password resets: Assist employees with password resets and account unlocks.
User onboarding: Assist with setting up new user accounts and providing basic IT orientation.
Knowledge base contribution: Contribute to the development and maintenance of the IT support knowledge base.

Technical skills:
Basic understanding of Mac/Windows/Linux operating systems
Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Basic programming or scripting knowledge
Familiarity with common software applications (Google Workspace, web browsers)
Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues"
