Job Title: Hardware & Networking Engineer
Location: Alappakkam, Chennai(near Porur, Maduravoyal)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Hardware & Networking Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware, peripherals, and network systems to ensure seamless IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop hardware, printers, and other peripherals.
• Setup, configure, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on hardware and software.
• Monitor network performance and resolve issues related to connectivity and performance.
• Maintain inventory of hardware assets and track software licenses.
• Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware purchases and repairs.
• Ensure data security and backup processes are implemented and followed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in hardware and network troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Knowledge of operating systems including Windows and Linux.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or similar.
• Experience with IT asset management systems.
• Familiarity with virtualization tools like VMware or Hyper-V.
