1. Diagnostic Testing and Analysis and Reporting:
conduct analysis and interpretation of various diagnostic test from blood samples to identify abnormalities, blood disorders, infections, and other medical conditions;
Prepare accurate and comprehensive pathology reports based on the analysis of samples, highlighting the findings and necessary recommendations for further treatment.
2. Clinical Consultation:
As and when required, provide consultation to referring physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals on test results and their implications for patient management;
3. Quality Control and Assurance:
Monitoring and implementation of quality control processes to maintain high standards of accuracy, precision, and reliability in diagnostic tests.
Ensuring the calibration of equipment(s), which affect test quality and to maintain their records.
4. Supervision of Laboratory Procedures:
Oversee laboratory staff and processes to ensure compliance with standard protocols, safety regulations, and efficient workflow.
Responsible to check the outsourced reports.
Involved in framing policies for day-to-day administrative operations and maintenance such as attendance, cleanliness, etc.
Perform all other job functions which are covered under Lab Director in absence of LD.
