Key Responsibilities:
 Operate and maintain lathe machines for shaping, cutting, and machining of metal parts.
 Use shaper, milling, and rotating machines for precision manufacturing and repair of machine components.
 Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required for machine maintenance and custom part creation.
 Work closely with the tool room team to ensure efficient use and upkeep of tools and machinery.
 Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders accurately.
 Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance checks to ensure smooth operations.
 Follow all safety guidelines and ensure a clean and organized working environment.
 Support the production and maintenance team in minimizing downtime and improving process efficiency.
Lath Machine Operation:
• Operate lath machines to shape, cut, and finish metal parts used in crumb rubber processing machinery.
• Set up tools and materials according to job specifications and blueprints.
• Measure, inspect, and test completed components to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
• Maintain and calibrate machines as required for optimal performance.

Welding & Fabrication:
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding on a variety of equipment parts and metal structures.
• Repair or fabricate parts for machines such as granulators, shredders, conveyors, and mixers used in rubber processing.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ensure welded components meet structural integrity and safety requirements.
General Maintenance Support:
• Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Record work activities, maintenance logs, and report issues to the supervisor.
