Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management
Maintain an accurate inventory of raw materials, components, and finished products.
Implement inventory control measures to reduce stock variances and minimize losses.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
2. Storage & Handling
Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment.
Implement best practices in stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO).
3. Procurement & Material Coordination
Coordinate with the purchase department for timely procurement of raw materials.
Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and report any discrepancies.
Communicate stock requirements to management and suppliers.
4. Dispatch & Logistics
Plan and coordinate the dispatch of finished door handles to customers.
Ensure proper documentation (invoices, delivery challans, packing lists) for outgoing shipments.
Collaborate with transporters to ensure timely delivery.
5. Record-Keeping & Reporting
Maintain stock registers, GRN (Goods Received Notes), and issue slips.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management review.
Use inventory management software for tracking stock movements.
6. Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with factory safety and storage regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the storage area.
Train staff on proper handling and storage techniques.
