1. Patient Care & Medical Assistance
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.).
Assist with wound care, injections, and catheter management.
Support mobility and physical therapy exercises.
Provide post-surgical care and chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
2. Personal Care & Hygiene
Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Help with feeding and ensuring proper nutrition.
Maintain skin integrity and prevent bedsores.
3. Health Monitoring & Documentation
Keep detailed records of patient conditions and progress.
Communicate with doctors and update treatment plans as needed.
Recognize early signs of complications and report them promptly.
4. Patient & Family Education
Teach patients and families about medication management, diet, and lifestyle changes.
Educate caregivers on basic medical care and emergency procedures.
5. Emotional & Psychological Support
Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
Offer guidance and counseling to family members.
6. Home Safety & Infection Control
Ensure a clean and safe home environment for the patient.
Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.
7. Emergency Response
Handle medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
Coordinate with emergency services if hospitalization is required.
