We are seeking a courteous, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to be the face of our hotel. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, handling check-in and check-out processes, and providing a memorable guest experience from arrival to departure.
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming attitude
Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
Manage room reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms
Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room readiness and guest needs
Maintain accurate guest records and payments using hotel management software (e.g., IDS, Opera, or PMS)
Process transactions (cash, credit card, etc.) and prepare bills
Maintain the front desk area in a neat and organized manner
Promote hotel services, upgrades, and special offers
Liaise with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Previous experience as a receptionist or in the hospitality industry preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with hotel management systems (PMS) is a plus
Fluency in English and local languages; knowledge of other languages is a bonus
Pleasant personality, well-groomed, and confident
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
High school diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field
