The Driver Recruitment Executive will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding drivers across multiple locations. This role requires expertise in mass recruitment, field hiring, and digital recruitment to attract and retain a large driver workforce. The ideal candidate must be proactive in identifying new hiring channels and independently driving recruitment efforts.
✅ Driver Sourcing & Recruitment:
Develop and execute driver hiring strategies to meet demand for on-demand and permanent driver services.
Independently call and connect with potential drivers from company databases and external job sources.
Leverage job portals (Naukri, Apna, WorkIndia, etc.), social media, and digital platforms to attract drivers.
Identify and engage potential drivers through field visits, job fairs, community outreach, and referral networks.
Collaborate with local transport hubs, driver unions, and job placement agencies to increase recruitment.
✅ Onboarding & Training:
Oversee the screening, verification, and documentation process for new drivers.
Conduct orientation programs to educate drivers about company policies, service standards, and technology usage.
Ensure compliance with RTO regulations, background checks, and safety guidelines.
✅ Driver Engagement & Retention:
Develop incentive programs, referral schemes, and loyalty initiatives to retain drivers.
Address driver grievances, provide support, and create a positive work environment.
Monitor driver performance and ensure high service standards are maintained.
✅ Operational Coordination:
Work closely with the Operations and On-Demand teams to ensure a steady supply of drivers.
Track recruitment targets, attrition rates, and driver availability metrics.
Use data-driven insights to optimize recruitment efforts and reduce driver churn.
✔ 4-8 years of experience in recruitment, workforce hiring, or driver management.
✔ Strong network in the driver community, transport hubs, and job agencies.
✔ Experience in field recruitment, calling candidates, and using job portals for hiring.
✔ Ability to handle high-volume hiring and manage a geographically dispersed workforce.
✔ Proficiency in CRM tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and data reporting.
✔ Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
