The role involves guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing detailed information about courses and programs, and ensuring an excellent experience for applicants. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a student-centric approach, and a keen interest in education counselling. Key Responsibilities: Counsel prospective students and parents about course offerings, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and career prospects. Handle inquiries via phone calls, emails, and walk-ins and provide accurate information. Assist students in completing application forms and ensuring all required documents are submitted. Conduct follow-ups with prospective students to ensure successful admission conversion. Coordinate and participate in admission events, open houses, and educational fairs. Maintain a database of inquiries, applications, and admissions. Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to streamline the admission process. Stay updated with industry trends, competitor analysis, and changes in educational policies. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education, Business, Communication, or a related field. Proven experience in student counselling, admissions, or sales (preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. A proactive, empathetic, and customer-oriented approach.
