We’re looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive our growth in the desired given market. The ideal candidate should have a solid network and understanding of the region’s FMCG ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage the distributor network
• Conduct retailer mapping and new outlet acquisition
• Achieve sales and growth targets through team coordination
• Monitor primary & key counters for secondary sales
• Identify, cover, and appoint stockists in uncovered/vacant territories
• Establish secondary sales channels with stockists and SSO/SO
• Train the field team and lead them to target achievement
• Set monthly targets aligned with market potential
• Recruit and manage SSO/SO under your region
• Monitor competitor activities, generate detailed reports, and escalate to senior management with proof
• Control stockist/distributor performance, inventory, and operations
• Ensure follow-up and recovery of payments from stockists
• Deliver joint field training to SSO/SOs
• Plan weekly/fortnightly performance review meetings with actionable roadmaps
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in East Delhi’s FMCG sector
• Strong grip on retail distribution network and local market
• Ability to handle teams, generate reports, and take initiative
