Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving B2B sales, building strong client relationships, and identifying growth opportunities in the industrial sector. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Lead Generation:
Identify and analyse potential clients within the manufacturing industry.
Research market trends and competitors to uncover business opportunities.
Client Acquisition:
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new B2B clients.
Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations with prospective clients.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
Provide exceptional post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement sales plans to achieve business targets.
Prepare proposals, contracts, and quotations tailored to client requirements.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of orders.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective campaigns and materials.
Reporting and Analysis:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer data, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
Analyse sales performance and generate periodic reports for management review.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of B2B sales processes in the manufacturing industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and nurture relationships with industrial clients.
Analytical mindset to assess market trends and sales performance.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Goal-oriented with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
3-7 yrs of experience in B2B sales within the manufacturing sector.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Familiarity with industrial products and their applications is preferred.
