Overview:
The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for cold calling potential clients to generate new business opportunities. This role focuses on lead generation, appointment setting, and initiating the sales process through effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct outbound calls to introduce products/services and generate interest.
Qualify leads to ensure alignment with target customers.
Schedule meetings/demos for senior sales teams.
Maintain records of prospects, interactions, and follow-ups in CRM.
Stay updated on company offerings to address client queries.
Engage leads through follow-ups to convert interest into sales.
Personalize conversations and ensure a positive customer experience.
Collaborate with the sales team for smooth transition to sales meetings.
Provide regular updates on outreach and conversion rates.
Build strong, long-term relationships with prospects.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
1-4 years in sales, telemarketing, or business development (cold calling experience is a plus).
Experience in CBG, BioCNG, or water industry (preferred but not mandatory).
Excellent verbal communication and confidence with decision-makers.
Strong ability to convert leads into clients.
Resilient and driven to meet sales targets.
Ability to manage high call volumes and track progress in CRM.
