We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) in the hotel industry, focused on sales and technology tools, would be responsible for driving revenue growth through identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, leveraging technology to enhance sales processes, and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Strategy:
○ Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
○ Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, customer segments, and partnerships.
○ Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitive landscapes.
○ Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
○ Negotiate and close deals with corporate and B2B clients.
○ Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Technology Tool Expertise:
○ Stay up-to-date on the latest technology tools and platforms used in the hospitality industry (e.g., CRMs, property management systems, online travel agencies).
○ Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to improve sales processes and customer engagement.
○ Collaborate with IT and marketing teams to implement and integrate new technologies.
Sales Team Leadership & Support:
○ Provide guidance and support to the sales team, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge to meet their sales goals.
○ Conduct training and development programs for new sales team members.
○ Analyze sales performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
Marketing & Promotion:
○ Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the hotel's offerings and attract new business.
○ Plan and participate in sales events, trade shows, and exhibitions.
○ Manage social media and online marketing efforts.
Client Relationship Management:
○ Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and proactively seek opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.
○ Address client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
○ Gather customer feedback and use it to improve products and services.
