We are seeking a compassionate, strategic, and highly motivated Career Counselor to support individuals in exploring career options, navigating transitions, and achieving their professional goals. You will guide clients through self-discovery, resume building, job searching, and interview preparation, using a personalized and goal-oriented approach.
Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to assess clients' skills, interests, and career goals
Provide guidance on educational pathways, job opportunities, and industry trends
Assist with resume and cover letter writing, as well as LinkedIn profile optimization
Conduct mock interviews and offer feedback to build confidence and preparation
Organize and facilitate career workshops, webinars, and networking events
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor market trends, job boards, and hiring practices
Utilize career assessment tools (e.g., MBTI, Strong Interest Inventory) to support career planning
Develop individualized career action plans and track client progress
Collaborate with educational institutions, employers, and training providers
Maintain client records and prepare regular reports on counseling outcomes
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, Human Resources, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
Proven experience in career counseling, academic advising, or coaching
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of career development theories and assessment tools
Familiarity with job search platforms, resume software, and counseling best practices
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others succeed
