Job Summary:
The Admission Counselor plays a key role in guiding prospective students through the application and admission process. This position involves providing accurate information about courses, helping students choose the right programs, and ensuring a smooth admission process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Counselling:
Engage with prospective students via phone, email, or in-person to understand their educational goals.
Provide detailed information about the institutions, courses, and admission requirements.
Help students select the right course based on their interests, academic background, and career aspirations.
2. Follow-Up & Relationship Building:
Regularly follow up with leads to answer any questions and encourage the completion of the admission process.
Build and maintain relationships with students, addressing their concerns and ensuring they feel supported throughout the admission journey.
3. Application Process Guidance:
Guide students through the application process, including filling out forms and submitting required documents.
Ensure that all applications and documentation are complete and submitted on time.
6. Targets Achievement:
Work towards achieving monthly/quarterly enrollment targets by converting inquiries into admissions.
Collaborate with the admissions team to track and meet enrollment goals.
7. Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-ups using CRM tools.
Prepare reports on student inquiries, conversions, and admissions progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any field (Education, Counseling, or related fields preferred but not mandatory
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport with prospective students and guide them through the decision-making process.
Organizational skills with attention to detail for handling applications and documentation.
Basic computer skills, including MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
