The Business Development Manager (BDM) for Solar Rooftop is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving sales growth in the rooftop solar segment. This role requires a deep understanding of solar energy solutions, regulatory policies, and strong sales acumen.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in solar rooftop business development or sales.
Strong knowledge of solar energy solutions, net metering, and power purchase agreements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Willingness to travel extensively as per business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA in Marketing/Sales or relevant field.
Experience in working with EPC or solar power companies.
Existing network in the solar industry, including clients, vendors, and government bodies.
